A senior improvement advisor with the NCCMH, Adele has supported a series of national Quality Improvement Collaboratives. Her time working alongside people in clinical settings honed her passion for trauma informed and neuro-affirming approaches to care. Most recently, and the highlight of her career, is the Culture of Care programme - an opportunity to create meaningful change for those working in and experiencing mental health care on wards in England. This is rooted in her knowing that championing the expertise of people living with mental illness and honouring ‘feelings as knowledge’ energises the creation of safe, therapeutic and equitable cultures.
