Salma the Poet
Salma is a British-Iranian poet who has been writing since she was 12. Her poems are based on life experience and she particularly loves sharing pieces focused on female empowerment.
Since embracing the stage in June 2022, she has had some amazing opportunities including performing at Frieze Art Fair, Wilderness Festival, a feminist festival and a number of fundraisers. She also enjoys writing for the Poetry Takeaway.
Outside of poetry, she loves extreme sports and staying active and is a charity lawyer. You can find her on Instagram on .
