Overview
International Medical Graduates’ Conference 2025: Empowering You Through Training will take place online via Zoom on Friday 07 February 2025.
The conference is aimed at:
- International Medical Graduates (IMGs)
- Medical Training Initiative (MTI) doctors
- Widening Access to Specialty Training (WAST) scheme doctors
- international doctors hoping to start a career in psychiatry
- trainers of International Medical Graduates (e.g. Heads of Schools and Programme Directors)
- anyone interested in recruitment and retention in psychiatry.
This conference provides an opportunity for International Medical Graduates and their trainers to learn about good practice and explore and celebrate diversity in the psychiatric workforce.
The conference will involve a wide range of topics related to training, tailored to the unique and specific needs of IMG doctors.

The event is taking place online via Zoom. To take part you will need:

- Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser or Zoom installed on your PC, laptop, tablet or phone.
You do not need to have a Zoom account to attend.
Some users may experience difficulty joining Zoom meetings due to security settings. If this is the case, we suggest you select the option to join via a web browser, rather than the Zoom app. If you cannot join on your computer you can still join on your phone. Please take a look at this .
