Event Information

We are delighted to be hosting a joint Faculty Conference bringing together the Eating Disorders and Perinatal Faculties in Scotland.

It is shaping up to be a great day with a packed programme covering themes of clinical management and the patient's journey, as well as nutrition across the age range.

A draft programme will be available shortly but in the meantime, we can confirm speakers including Dr Chantelle Ecob who will be speaking to her papers on the 'systematic review of the clinical practice guidelines for the assessment, management and treatment of eating disorders during the perinatal period' and 'a qualitative investigation of the factors influencing eating disorder symptomology during the postpartum period'.

We will be joined remotely by Deakin Distinguished Professor Felice Jacka OAM, who is internationally recognised as a leader in the rapidly developing field of research focused on Nutritional Psychiatry and is the founder and immediate-past president of the International Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research (ISNPR). She is also the founder and director of the Food & Mood Centre at Deakin University.

We're also very pleased to welcome Iain Campbell, Baszucki Research Fellow in Metabolic Psychiatry, University of Edinburgh to present on his work in this area.
