Senedd Cymru Election 2026
The next Senedd term (2026-2030) represents a pivotal moment for the future landscape of mental health, building on the new Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy and overdue reforms to legislation.
We are calling on all political parties to clearly prioritise mental health in their manifestos by committing to short-, medium- and long-term actions.
We have identified 15 priorities to support the next Welsh Government in making realistic and ambitious improvements to the delivery of mental healthcare.
These are spread across 4 focus areas:
1. Patients2. Workforce3. Health boards 4. Digital & research
