Dr Raka Maitra
Women's Mental Health Special Interest Group Representative
Dr Raka Maitra is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist. Her work within the committee focuses on the wellbeing of those in our workforce who are also carers for a person with disability. She is the Co-lead of the RCPsych Carers Workstream. She is an executive member of Women and Mental Health special interest group (WMHSIG) at RCPsych. She was featured in the WMHSIG 25 Women Project celebrating 25 Women psychiatrists in the UK.
