Victoria Mary Ellison & Conal Corr, two 2nd year medical students from the Queen’s University of Belfast, discuss their experience of an innovative psychiatry Student Selected Component, Heads Above The Rest?

During this module they learned about mental health and intellectual disability. They met with pupils from a special school and worked over 12 weeks to design and develop a positive mental health workshop, including an interactive powerpoint presentation, a drama & small group work.
