Successful Trainees' conference
RCPsych and the Psychiatric Trainees’ Committee (PTC) have hosted an incredibly successful National Trainees’ Conference in Leeds from 25 to 26 April.
The conference focused on 'Next Generation Psychiatry' and explored the future care of patients, what the role of psychiatrists might be in the coming decades and how to make psychiatry a sustainable, rewarding and lifelong career.
All elements of the programme linked to High Level Outcomes (HLOs) to help identify how each session could be included in Personal Development Plans and to aid with study leave and study budget requests.
There was a really energetic atmosphere at this sold-out event and delegates enjoyed the wide range of keynote lecture and workshop topics available, along with the opportunity to network with trainees from across the UK.
We would like to thank all our speakers, facilitators, conference organisers and delegates for such an interesting, engaging and future focused conference.
