We are pleased to announce our continued support for the Nant Caredig area at this year’s Urdd Eisteddfod.
The Urdd Eisteddfod (Eisteddfod yr Urdd) is Europe’s largest touring youth festival. It is a celebration of the Welsh language, culture and the wealth of young talent in Wales.
This year, the Eisteddfod is visiting Margam Park, Neath Port Talbot, from Monday 26 to Saturday 31 May. The festival’s theme is Dur a M?r (Steel and Sea), reflecting the industrial heritage of Port Talbot and the surrounding area.
RCPsych Wales is pleased to announce its continued support for the Nant Caredig wellbeing area at this year’s event, building on our established partnership with the Urdd.
Now in its third year, Nant Caredig offers a safe space for neurodiverse individuals or anyone else who needs a quiet space to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the Maes (main field).
The Nant Caredig Yurt will also host a diverse range of wellbeing activities throughout the week. This includes art therapy sessions, Makaton jamborees, Triban (music) workshops, and Paid ? Bod Ofn (Don’t be Afraid) activities with Welsh pop group Eden.
